HOW DO I JOIN THE PTA?

Joining the PTA is easy. Just click on JOIN NOW OR ANY OF THE MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS ABOVE,  log into the Givebacks platform and click on the membership option that best suits your needs.

IF I JOIN THE PTA, DO I HAVE TO VOLUNTEER?

No, not at all. While we love having volunteers helping at all of our events, we understand that sometimes it doesn't align with everyone's busy schedule. If you are able to give any time to us, even if it is an hour, or 30 minutes every moment spent is appreciated. We value your time, and appreciate your love and commitment to our school and the activities the PTA hosts.

WHY DOES IT COST $ TO JOIN THE PTA?

Great Question! As a PTA organization, a portion on the funds go back to the National and State level of our PTA chapters. The PBES PTA is able to keep some of the membership funds to cover the cost of insurance, t-shirts (you get one free with each membership) and filing of taxes and other mandatory licenses that we must have to have a local PTA chapter. A small portion of these  fees also go towards academic enrichment and family engagement events.

WHAT DO I GET FOR MY PTA MEMBERSHIP FEE?

INFLUENCE CHANGE: A PBEA PTA membership allows you to advocate for your child's school and contribute positive changes, influencing school policies and decision-making processes. YOU are the voice for your student. 
GET CONNECTED: The PBES PTA is a great way to stay informed about our school's events, initiatives and important updates. You'll know what happening and can actively participate in your student's educational journey. This is a great way to connect with other parents and teachers, build relationships, and share your ideas, concerns and experiences. 
PERSONAL GROWTH: Volunteering with the PBES PTA lets your use your skills, talents and hobbies for a meaningful cause - supporting our students and the community. 
SPIRIT WEAR: Some of the PTA membershipS include a school t-shirt for you or your child. On Friday's our Sandpipers are encouraged to wear their shirt to promote school spirit.
